Laser Caution

Do not open the handheld. The handheld may only be opened by factory authorized service 

personnel. Class 2 laser radiation when open; DO NOT stare into the laser aperture or the 

laser beam, or point the laser beam at other persons.

Use of controls, adjustments or performance of procedures other than those specified herein 

may result in hazardous laser radiation exposure.

Class 2 laser scanners use a low power, visible light diode. As with any bright light source, 

such as the sun, the user should avoid staring directly into the laser beam. Momentary 

exposure to a Class 2 laser is not known to be harmful.

The warning label is shown below. The warning label is located on the back or underside of 

the handheld. The location of the laser window from where the handheld emits the laser beam 

is also shown below.
