Turn Signal Indicator Lamps
(GREEN)
These lights (2) are located
within
the
gauge.
When
an indicator light blinks,
it
indicates which turn signal,
left or right, is in operation.
When both blink, it indicates
the hazard lights are selected
ON.
8) Ignition Switch
The ignition switch is located at the
bottom of the gauge support, just left
of center.
It is a key-operated 2 position switch;
OFF and ON (with lights).

Insert key in switch and turn to ON po-
sition. To remove key, turn key to OFF
position then pull it out.
Remember that having the lights on
(headlamps and/or position light) with-
out the engine running discharges
the battery. Always turn ignition to
OFF position after engine has been
stopped.
NOTE:
While
the
engine
can
be
stopped by turning the ignition key
to OFF position, we recommend the
engine be stopped by using the emer-
gency engine stop switch.
9) Fuel Valve
The fuel valve is located on the RH side
of the vehicle near the engine.
This is a 3 position rotary valve; OFF,
ON, RES (reserve). Rotate the valve to
align its pointer to the desired position.

Stops fuel supply to carburetor.
NOTICE
Turn fuel valve to OFF po-
sition when vehicle is not being op-
erated for a prolonged period of time
or when transporting.
ON
Allows fuel to flow to carburetor. This
is the normal position for operation of
the vehicle.
