To maintain optimum and safe performance, only use genu-
ine spare parts. Do not use re-conditioned or unauthorised
gas controls. Contact your retailer.
Installation
This appliance is designed for domestic cooking only. Use for
any other purpose could invalidate any warranty or liability
claim.
Check the appliance data badge to determine which gas the
cooker is set for.

A conversion kit for other gases is supplied with the cooker
If the appliance is to be converted to another gas we recom-
mend that this is done before installation. See the Conversion
section of this instruction for more details.
Safety Requirements/Regulations
This appliance must be installed by a competent person. The
installation must comply with the relevant regulations and
also the local electricity supply company requirements. Read
the instructions before installing or using this appliance.
In your own interest and that of safety, it is law that all gas
appliances be installed by competent persons. Failure to
install the appliance correctly could invalidate any warranty
or liability claims and lead to prosecution.
Before installation, ensure that cooker is suitable for your gas
type and supply voltage. See the data badge. This appliance
can be converted for use on other gases.
Install in a well-ventilated space.
Provision of Ventilation
This appliance is not connected to a combustion products
evacuation device. It shall be installed and connected in
accordance with current installation regulations. Particular
attention shall be given to the relevant requirements regard-
ing ventilation.
Local regulations regarding ventilation must be adhered to
but as a minimum:
All rooms require an openable window or equivalent, while
some rooms require a permanent vent in addition to the
openable window. The cooker should not be installed in a
bedsitting room with volume less than 20m3. If it is installed
in a room of volume less than 5m3 an air vent of effective
area 100cm2 is required; if it is installed in a room of volume
between 5m3 and 10m3, an air vent of effective area 50cm2
is required; while if the volume exceeds 11m3, no air vent is
required. However, if the room has a door that opens directly
to the outside, no air vent is required even when the room
