7.5 Admin - Monitoring
7.5.1 Network
The Network field is subdivided into 4 sub-fields.
1. Settings
The PPP Server settings refer to the network settings
for the web server of KACO-proLOG.
IP Server Address
IP address of KACO-proLOG after dialing in by modem
/ ISDN /GSM (standard setting: 192.168.200.1).

Caller IP Address
Do not change. (Standard setting: 192.168.200.51
Server Telephone Number
This phone number is used for documenting purposes
only; it shows the number at which KACO-proLOG can
be reached.
Lan-Interface settings (Ethernet)
These settings refer to the local network settings of
KACO-proLOG.
Current IP Address
Shows the current IP address of KACO-proLOG.
Boot Protocol
Selectable between none, DHCP, BOOTP, RARP.
A description of protocols is given on page 10.
Static IP address
Used to enter the desired IP address, if no boot protocol
is used.
Network Mask
This field defines the network mask to be used, if no
other network mask is assigned by the BOOTP or
DHCP server.
Gateway
Defines the gateway, if no other gateway is assigned by
the BOOTP or DHCP server.
1st DNS server
Use this field to enter the DNS server.
2nd DNS server
Use this field to enter an alternative DNS server.
The ISDN Terminal adapter settings refer to the ISDN
settings of KACO-proLOG. If the device is to be used at
an ISDN extension you must enter the appropriate
extension number.
MSN
Number of the ISDN extension – usually a phone
number without area code.
The settings under Check of message pathsare used
to test if KACO proLOG has connected successfully.
This option allows checking the contacts by made
email, fax and SMS.
Test Contact
This field is used to enter the contact person to receive
the test message. You may either select the standard
contact or one of four contact addresses.
To select the type of contact (by email, fax or SMS),
simply enable the appropriate checkbox with a tick
mark.
Changes will not be active until the “Save”
button is pressed.
2. Internet
This field is used to set the Internet access points
(provider) used by KACO-proLOG to log into the
Internet. You must enter the description, dial-in number,
user name and password. Providers are listed under
“Network -> Email“.

3. Email
Used to enter the settings required to send emails.
The SMTP server (outgoing mail) setting defines
information concerning IP address and email address.
These entries are mandatory if KACO-proLOG is to
send emails.
IP address of server
Indicates the IP address of the email server to be
logged into. The IP address of our computer center is
213.179.128.176.
