Schematic for wiring solar inverters:
The jumper-switch has to be on “PVI-
PVIgo” when the inverter and the current
sensors are connected. In case of inverter
connection only the jumper hast to stay at “PVI”.
4.4.7 D0 digital output
The digital output may be used as an alarm
output to trigger signal transmitters, or as a
pulse output for the connection of a display.
To configure this function you must connect to
KACO-proLOG and make the necessary
adjustments via the browser (Admin Monitoring
-> switch output). The output has been
designed as an optocoupler output (make contact); so
external voltage must be applied as necessary. The
max. load is 50 mA.

The device is equipped with 4 (XL) or,
respectively, 1 (M, L) analog inputs,
which are adjusted for voltage
measurements ranging from 0..10V.
In addition, direct connection of a PT
1000 temperature sensor is enabled. The device has to
be configured accordingly (also please refer to “6.4
PVIweb optional).

4 (XL) or, respectively, 1 (M, L) can be
used to pick up digital counter inputs
(max. frequency: 14 Hz). This will
require an interface according to S0
specification.
External voltages greater than 24 VDC
or reversed poles can destroy the
sense input. The 24VDC supply is
available starting from the D0+
terminal.
Connection of an insolation (solar radiation)
sensor and energy meter:
Input AI1 has been pre-configured for the connection of
an insolation sensor. Digital input DI1 has been pre-
configured for the connection of a grid-feeding meter.
