7.6.2 Digital channels
y Status:
Used to enable/disable a channel (inactive / active).
Depending on the status, the measured values are
logged in the data files.
y Designation of channel/measured value:
Defines the name of the channel. This description is
used in the online display of measured values.
y Abbreviation:
Defines the channel abbreviation to be used in the
data files. This abbreviation should be selected from
a predefined list (see Section 9: List of abbreviations)
to facilitate synchronization with the Internet
database.
y Unit:
Defines the unit of measured values. This designation
is used for the online display of measured values.
y Number of decimal places:
Defines the number of decimal points for the online
display and for archiving in the data files.
y Pulse constant:
This constant is used to convert the measured pulses
into physical units; the constant is indicated in
imp-./kWh.
y Current power interval:
Defines the time for calculating the current output
from pulses; the time is defined in seconds
(depending on the pulse frequency).
y Meter reading:
Indicates the current reading of the energy
measurement; this value may also be entered
manually.
7.6.3 Current sensors
This field is used to add or delete sensors. To do this,
enter the bus address into the field and click “Add” or
“Delete”. After completing your entries, click “Accept” to
confirm and accept the new list of addresses.
The field “Sensor programming” can be used to change
the address of a sensor. Renaming the sensor
addresses is necessary because double addresses are
not admissible for the data logger. All further options
must also be supported by the current sensors and,
therefore, should only be adjusted in consultation with
KACO Geraetetechnik!
7.6.4 Inverters
If inverters are connected, you can use this field for
administration, e.g. enter or delete inverters from the
system.
7.6.5 Energy – digital channels
This page refers to the field “online values“ -> “analog –
digital”. Administrators are allowed to correct the energy
values indicated in this field.
In addition, the field “Digital inputs to be summed” can
be used to define which channels are to be considered
for the summation.
