7.5.3 Switching output
This field is used to set the digital output. It allows
selecting between “inactive, alarm output and meter
output.” If the output is used as a “meter output” for
connecting a display, a pulse constant must be entered.
This pulse constant indicates how many pulses
KACO-proLOG will output for one kilowatt hour of
energy produced at D0.
If the output is used as an alarm output, i.e. for the
connection of an alarm device, the various alarms can
be enabled in the lower field “Set digital output”. The
alarms are acknowledged under “Admin monitoring
-> plant messages”, “inverter” and “formulas”.
Your changes will not be active until the
Save button is pressed.
7.5.4 Plant messages
The Plant messages field only refers to errors which
have occurred within the monitoring system itself.
The following settings are possible:
• Status:
Selects between “inactive” and “active”.
• Type of alarm:
This criterion is used to log into the selected
computer and to register
• Alarm target (contact):
Sets the contact to be notified in the event of an
alarm;
• Alarm counter
Shows how often an alarm has occurred already;
• Current info:
Shows how often the last alarm was triggered;
• Reset:
The “Reset Counter” button is used to reset the
alarm counter.
7.5.5 Inverters
This field can be used to enter settings concerning the
inverter monitoring. The type of alarm can be set via
“Type of alarm” (fax, email, SMS) and “alarm contact”.
• Anomaly file too large:
This file lists status changes of the inverter, which
usually do not occur during “normal operation.”
If this file is too large this means that too many status
changes were recorded, and an alarm message is
triggered.
• Energy deviation:
functioning Only with same inverter type and same
module power
• No inverter feedback
Inititates an alarm message if the inverter does not
respond.
• Tolerance threshold at energy deviation
This setting refers to the “energy deviation” alarm.
The energy curves of the inverter must be within
these thresholds. If the (upper or lower) threshold is
exceeded or fallen below, an alarm message will be
initiated.
• Number of missing replies until triggering of alarm:
This command indicates the number of requests and
missing replies admissible for an inverter before an
alarm is triggered. The admissible value depends on
the number of connected inverters.
