Engine Oil Pressure Lamp
Turns On
Engine Oil Pressure Gauge
- It is important to maintain
oil pressure within acceptable
limits. If oil pressure drops
below the minimum psi a
Red Warning Lamp on the oil
pressure gauge and the Stop
Engine Lamp will come ON.
CAUTION
Continuing to operate your vehi-
cle with insufficient oil pressure
may cause severe engine damage,
equipment or property damage.
•
If the oil pressure fails to rise within
10 seconds after the engine starts,
stop the engine and determine the
cause.
•

page 5-12, for the correct oil
pressure ranges for your vehicle's
engine.
