Error message
Possible solutions
No image
The camera does not see any pictures/videos.
• Verify if the SD card is not locked.
• Verify if the memory card contains photos/videos
with a computer.
Protected file
The file you want to delete is protected.
• Unprotect the photo in the View mode, then you will
be able to delete this file.
• Format the memory card to delete this file and all the
others
Insert memory
card
The use of a memory card is required to record photos
and videos.
Error: No SIM
card
The SIM card is missing or defective.
• Turn off the camera and turn it on again
• Remove the SIM card and insert it again.
Error: SIM card
The SIM card is defective.
• Turn off the camera and turn it on again
• Remove the SIM card and insert it again.
Error: SIM locked Your SIM card is locked.
• USA: Contact the SPYPOINT customer service.
• International: Contact your cellular provider to have
the SIM card unlocked.
Error: SIM locked
(PUK)
Your SIM card is locked and require a PUK.
• Contact the cellular service provider to unlock the
SIM card. They will be able to provide you with your
PUK number (Personal Unblocking Key).
Error: SIM card
not supported
• USA: The camera must use a Truphone SIM card,
or the Truphone card is used outside of the assigned
country.
• International: Verify if you have choosen the right
Country and provider for the SIM card you are using.
Error: SIM not
activated
Your SIM card is either not activated or the cell pro-
vider have refused the connection.
• Turn off the camera and turn it on again
• Make sure the SIM card is activated
Error: Wrong
provider or no
data plan
The provider of the SIM card is different from the one
selected in the camera settings.
• Verify the provider you have choosen is the same as
your SIM card
• Verify that you have the right plan required for the
camera you are using.
Error: No service The SIM card does not detect any signal.
• Go outside to do your Network test.
Error: Modem
There has been a communication problem between the
camera and the modem.
• Turn off the camera and turn it on again
