1. Remove the drive housing from the fluid assembly. Be careful
not to spill the fluid.
2. Turn the spray tip all the way counterclockwise.
3. Push the speed selection switch to the low-speed setting (-).
4. Hold the spray tip over the open fluid tank and squeeze the
trigger until no more fluid comes out.
5. Empty the material from the fluid tank back into the original
container.
1. Partially fill the fluid tank with an appropriate cleaning solution.
2. Replace the drive housing and run the sprayer so that the
cleaning solution goes through the sprayer. Repeat steps 1 and
2 until the cleaning solution no longer contains any spray
material. Add fresh cleaning solution to the fluid tank as
necessary.
3. Remove the drive housing.
4. Empty the fluid hose by holding the spray tip over the open fluid
tank and squeezing the trigger until no more fluid comes out.
5. Empty the cleaning solution from the
fluid tank.
6. Unscrew the tip from the end of the
wand.
7. Remove the filters from any tips used.
Clean the filters with an appropriate
cleaning solution.
Removing the Pump Assembly
1. Unscrew the fluid hose
from the pump assembly
fitting and pull the air hose
from the air hose fitting.
2. Turn the pump assembly
retaining nut
counterclockwise to
unlock it and remove it
from the pump assembly.
3. Pull the pump assembly
from the drive housing.
Removing the Inlet Valve
1. Pull the inlet valve filter off of the
inlet valve body.
2. Turn the inlet valve body
counterclockwise to unlock and
remove it from the pump
assembly.
3. Carefully pull out the inlet ball
holder and inlet ball.
4. Place the items you have
removed into a container filled
with an appropriate cleaning
solution.
Removing the Outlet Valve and Relief Valve
1. Turn the red outlet valve
cap counterclockwise to
unlock and remove it
from the pump assembly.
2. Remove the outlet valve
poppet and spring.
3. Turn the black pressure
relief valve cap
counterclockwise to
unlock and remove it
from the pump assembly.
4. Remove the relief valve
poppet and spring.
5. Place the items you have
removed into a container filled with an appropriate cleaning
solution.
Cleaning the Pump Assembly
1. Scrub the pump housing
with an appropriate
cleaning solution using the
brush provided.
2. Scrub the inlet valve filter
with an appropriate
cleaning solution using the
brush provided.
3. Remove the inlet valve,
outlet valve, and relief valve
items from the cleaning
solution. Make certain that
they are clean.
4. Place a drop of standard
household oil on the inlet
valve ball, the outlet valve
poppet and the relief valve
poppet. This will help to
keep the valves from sticking.
5. Put the pump assembly back together.

NOTE:
The outlet valve poppet and spring and the pressure
relief valve poppet and spring may fall out when you
remove the caps. Be very careful not to lose them.
