Have you tried the recommendations above and are still having problems? In the United States, call our toll-free
consumer service at 1-800-981-7834 Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM Central time or between 9:00
AM and 4:00 PM Saturday or Sunday, or contact an authorized service center.
Cleaning and Lubricating the Piston and O-ring
1. Remove the o-ring from the
piston and clean it
thoroughly. To remove it,
pinch on both sides of the
o-ring until it stretches
enough to pull off, or pry it
off with a small flat-head
screwdriver. Be careful not
to damage the o-ring.
2. Replace the o-ring onto the
piston and place a few
drops of household oil on it.
3. Locate the grease reservoir
at the top of the piston. It is
underneath the motor, so
you will have to turn the
drive housing over to see it.
Be careful not to get any liquid inside the drive housing.
4. Wipe the area clean but do not remove the grease. If
necessary, pack the reservoir with petroleum jelly.
Attaching the Pump Assembly to the Drive Housing
1. Slide the pump assembly all the
way onto the piston. The pump
assembly should rest flat against
the drive housing. If it does not,
gently turn the piston until the
pump assembly falls into place.
2. Attach the pump assembly
retaining nut and turn it clockwise
to lock it.
Always lock the trigger off and push the speed selection switch to
the center position when storing the sprayer. This will prevent
accidental spraying.
Clean, dry, and lubricate the system thoroughly before storing.
Do not store with liquids inside unit. Storing the sprayer in cold
temperatures can cause the liquids to freeze and expand,
causing pressure to build and break parts. Let the equipment
come up to room temperature before operating.
When storing the sprayer for more than a day, take the following
precautions:
1. Remove the batteries.
2. Remove the hose from the pump fitting.
3. Loosen all spray tube locking collars to relax the seals.
4. Store the hose in a large loop. If it is bent, it could be damaged.
