MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Cleaning and maintenance work should be done when all the areas of the oven are cold, to prevent possible burns.
do
not use chemical products to clean the oven. never pour water inside the oven to put out the charcoal.
IMPORTANT:
Ashes must not be poured into buckets made from combustible or heat sensitive materials.
Ashes should be placed into an ash dolly (metal container with a tight fitting lid). The closed container of ashes
should be placed on a non-combustible floor surface or on the ground, a safe distance from all combustible
materials pending final disposal. check with your dealer about Wood Stone’s Ash dolly.
CAUTION:
never use gasoline, gasoline-type lantern fuel, kerosene, charcoal lighter fluid, or similar liquids to
start or freshen a fire in this oven. keep all such liquids away from the oven while it is in use.
GRILL RACKS
Before the grill rack is positioned for cooking it should be cleaned using a
sharp wire brush to remove the fat that accumulated
during the last time it was used.
DRIP TRAY
The drip tray (which is removable to make cleaning easier) must be kept
clean.
