Press the “Needle Position” button to raise 

the needle.

Gently pull the upper thread, and a loop of 

the bobbin thread will come out of the hole 

in the needle plate.

Pull up the bobbin thread, then pass it 

under the presser foot and pull it about 

100 mm (approx. 3-4 inches) toward the 

back of the machine, making it even with 

the upper thread.
