Copying files to your device
You can either copy files to your phone manually or if you have a PC,
automatically copy (synchronise) files between your PC and your phone. The
latter s descrbed below.
Use the Sync feature n the desktop verson of Wndows Meda Player 10 to
synchronise (copy) digital media files from your computer to your device. Using Sync
ensures that protected files and album art are copied to your phone correctly.
(Please ensure that you have completed the one-off steps n Chapter-6 for
ActiveSync first and that the checkbox for Media Player has been ticked also in
your PC ActveSync as shown below as one-off steps agan for Meda Player).
Select Meda to get the next screen below.
If this is greyed out for any reason, please see the Notes at the end of this subsection about
this issue.
At ths stage, follow the nstructons gven here and nsert a storage card nto
your phone also before proceedng.

To synchronise content to your phone automatically, do the following:
On your computer, start Windows Media Player 10.
Insert a 32 MB or larger storage card into your phone, and then connect your phone to
your computer. On your computer, the Device Setup Wizard opens.
In the wizard, click Automatic, select the Customise the playlists that will be synchronised
check box, and then select the playlists that you want to synchronise.
Click Finish.
The files begin synchronising to your phone. The next time you connect your
phone to your computer whle the desktop verson of Wndows Meda Player 10
s runnng, synchronsaton wll start automatcally.
For more nformaton about the Sync feature, start the desktop verson of
Wndows Meda Player 10, and then press F1.
