BEAMInG FIlES
The term Beam s used to descrbe the short range transferrng of nformaton
between two unts. An example of beamng could be you sendng the detals of
a contact to another Wndows Moble devce.
To Beam an item
In the Calendar, Contacts, Notes, Tasks, and Pctures programs, you can beam
files and information to other devices using Bluetooth.
From the program, select the item you want to beam, such as an appointment in
Calendar, a task in Tasks, a contact card in Contacts, or a picture in Pictures. In Calendar,
first open the appointment in Agenda view. Click Menu > Beam.
In the contacts application, you should go to Menu > Send Contact > Beam.
Receive beamed information
Your devce s set by default not to receve beamed nformaton. Ths s for the
securty of your devce and to save your battery power.
Do the following:
To receive beams by using Bluetooth, ensure that your JAMA 201 Bluetooth is set with a
tick against the option 'Make this device visible to other device' and is within
close range.
2. You will be notified when data is being received on your device.
3. Once the information has finished being transferred, you will be asked whether you wish
to store the item. Click Yes to keep it, or No to discard.
