The plastic pedal cover screws
are coming loose.
• The foot support and pedal
cover holes are misaligned.
• Realign the foot pedal and
foot support, then tighten the
screws.

The connecting arm is making
contact inside the rear pod cover,
causing squeaking noise.
• The connecting arm has too
much back and forth play
during machine operation.
• Place Teflon washer behind
the connecting arm end
attached to the foot pedal
weldment.

The seal is coming out of the
self-aligning bearing (rear of the
connecting arm).

The pod cover is loose.
• The pod cover inserts are
pulled out or stripped.
• Replace the pod cover.

There is a rubbing noise.
• The pod cover is hitting the
drivetrain cover.
• Verify that the snap ring
securing the eccentric crank
arm to the crank arm is flush
against the back side of the
crank arm.

There is a clanking noise at the
foot pedal(s).
• Screws holding the foot pedal
in place have come loose.
• Tighten the screws attaching
the foot pedal to the foot
support.
• There is too much play
between the foot support and
the pivot shaft.
• Tighten the 5/16" button head
screws attaching the foot
support to the pivot shaft.
• The foot support is broken.
Remove the foot pedal to
verify.
• Replace the foot support.
