GETTING STARTED
For optimum safety, children should
travel in the rear of the vehicle at all times.
However, if it is essential that a child
travels in front, set the front passenger
seat fully backward.
Use only approved child restrained
system which meets safety standards.
Only fit a child seat that has been
approved for use in your vehicle and
ensure that the manufacture’s fitting
instructions are followed correctly.
Child restraints:
Use of seatbelts for expectant
mother:
TATA MOTORS recommended the use
of a seat belt. Expectant mother must
wear a correctly positioned seat belt. It
is safer for mother as well as unborn
child. Doctor’s advice is recommended.
Expectant mother should wear the lap
part of the belt across the thighs and as
snug across the hips as possible. Keep
the belt low so that it does not come
across the abdomen. That way the
strong bones of the hips will take the
force if there is a collision.
WARNING
• Never install any rearward facing
child seat or restraint in the front seat
if the vehicle is fitted with Passenger
Air Bag (PAB), as serious injury or
death may result from the force of
inflation of Passenger Air Bag
(PAB).
• Child restraint systems are available
at TATA MOTORS authorised
dealerships. TATA MOTORS
recommended the use of a type,
which suits to the age of your child.
Before installation always read its
manufacturer’s instructions.
Injured person :
TATA MOTORS recommends the use
of a seat belt for injured person.
Depending on the injury, consult your
doctor for specific recommendations.
