Freezing more
than 24 hrs.

What to do:
-Freezingthefoodforatleast24hoursinastandard4-starfreezer.
-Freezethefoodatbetween-20ºCand-22ºCtoobtaincorrecttexture
quality.
What not to do:
-Processfrozenfoodthathasnotbeencompletelyfrozen.
-Processfrozenfoodwhichisnotat-20ºC.Thequalityobtainedmay
betoosoft.
Positioning the
blade and jug lid
-Ifthebladeisincorrectlypositionedthis
maycauseittofallduringtheprocess.If
thisoccursyouwillhearaloudnoise.
-Notfittingthelidmaycontaminatethe
systemwithfood.
What to do:
-Positionthebladeandjuglidcorrectly.
-Checkthatthebladeiswellsecured.
-Listentotheapplianceforthefirstfewsecondsafterstart-upto
detectanyloudnoise.
What not to do:
-Neverstarttheapplianceifthebladeandjuglidarenotpositioned
andwellsecured.
Cleaning the
appliance
-Cleaningtheappliance
issimpleandrequireslittlework.
-Theappliancehasacleaningfunctionto
makecompletecleaningeasy.
What to do:
-Cleanthebladeandjuglidaftereachuse.
-Ifyoufindexcessleftoverfrozenfoodonthejuglid,cleanthe
appliancearoundthespindlewithadampcloth.
-Cleantheappliancecompletelyattheendoftheday.
-Ifyouhaveprocessedover-filledfrozenfoodcleantheappliance
completely.
Maintenance of
the blade
-Usingadeterioratedblade(bentorwitha
wornedge)candamagetheapplianceand
affectthetexturequality.
What to do:
-Ifyoudetectwearontheedgeofthebladerequestagenuine
replacement.
-Ifapaddleofthebladehasbecomebentrequestagenuine
replacement.
What not to do:
-Processfrozenfoodusingadeterioratedblade.
Air filter
-Thecarbonfilterhelpstokeepthe
injectedaircleanandodourless.
What to do:
-Replacetheairfilterevery6monthstopreserveitsfiltering
propertiesinordertopreventexteriorsmellsandvapoursfrom
affectingthefrozenfood.
Maintenance
of frozen food
vessels
-Themetalfrozenfoodvesselsmustbe
keptinperfectconditiontopreventdamage
totheapplianceandmaintainthetexture
quality.
What to do:
-Checkthevesselbeforeprocessing.Itmustbefreeofindentations
anddeformations.
What not to do:
-Ifyouuseafrozenfoodvesselthatrequiresexcessiveforceto
positionitintheappliance,itprobablyhasanindentationor
deformationandmustbereplaced.
-Hittingtherimofthefrozenfoodvesselwithaspoonorother
utensilswilldeformtherim.
-Beforefreezingthefood,whenfittingthevessellidcheckthatitis
notpressingtoohardonthefood,asitcoulddeformthevesselonce
frozen.
Overheating of
the appliance
-Theappliancehasanoverheating
protectionelement.Afteroverheating,the
appliancewillcease
tofunctionfor15minutes.
-Iftheprotectionisactivatedduring
processing,thiswillbehalfdoneandthe
bladewillremainintheinteriorofthe
frozenfoodvessel.
What to do:
-Topreventoverheating,afterhavingmade10consecutiveportions,
respecttherestperiodof5minutes.
-Checkthecorrectstatusoftheblade,thattheedgeispreservedand
thatthereisnobendingofthepaddles.Otherwisechangeitfora
genuinereplacement.
Ifoverheatinghasoccurred:
-Makesuretorepositionthebladecorrectlyonthespindlebefore
processingagainonetheappliancehasbeenre-established.
