4. LIMIT SWITCH ADJUSTMENT
The two micro switches installed on the motor may work in three
different modes according to the FC.En parameter settings in the
control unit programming menu.
1 Opening and closing limit switch
2 Opening and closing slow-down start
3 Shadow area start and end
1 Opening and closing limit switch
When the micro switch is activated the door stops.
Opening limit switch: move the up-and-over door to about
50 mm of the maximum opening and adjust the left-hand
cam (SX) until the micro switch is activated.
Fasten the cam by tightening the side screws.
Closing limit switch: move the up-and-over door to the
maximum opening position and adjust the right-hand cam
(DX) until the micro switch is activated.
Fasten the cam by tightening the screw.
2 Opening and closing slow-down start
The micro switch activation will mark the start of the slow-down
stage, lasting until the door comes into contact with the stopper.
Move the up-and-over door to the opening slow-down starting
point, then adjust the left-hand cam until the micro switch is
activated. Fasten the cam by tightening the screw.
Move the up-and-over door to the closing slow-down starting
point, then adjust the RIGHT-HAND cam until the micro switch is
activated. Fasten the cam by tightening the screw.
3 Shadow area start and end
In some installation the door might pass in front of the
photocells, intersecting their beam.
In this case the door might fail to complete the closing cycle. This
function allows to temporarily disable the photocells, in order to
let the door pass in front of them.
Move the up-and-over door to the shadow area starting point,
then adjust the left-hand cam until the micro switch is activated.
Fasten the cam by tightening the screw.
Move the up-and-over door to the shadow area end point, then
adjust the RIGHT-HAND cam until the micro switch is activated.
Fasten the cam by tightening the screw.
