Serial/LocalTalk Card
The Serial/LocalTalk option lets you connect your
DocuPrint P14 to a PC or Macintosh serial interface, or to
a Macintosh LocalTalk network.
Review the precautions on page D-3 and then follow this
procedure to install the Serial/LocalTalk option in your
computer.

Turn off the printer and disconnect the power cord and
printer cable.

Remove the cover located at the right side of the printer.

Remove the retaining screw from the metal shield. Slide
the metal shield in the direction of the arrow marked on
the cover, then remove the shield.
