Inbound, Outbound Mail and Public Folders
Inbound, Outbound Mail and Public Folders Statistics display the statistics
of processed, infected, and suspicious mail messages.
Inbound Mail includes e-mail messages coming into Microsoft
Exchange Information Store from external sources such as SMTP
connector, and internal mail flowing inside organization.
Outbound Mail includes e-mail messages leaving Exchange
Information Store and going out via SMTP, NNTP or IMAP4.
Public Folders statistics display statistics for processed Public
Folder notes.

Processed Messages
Displays the total number of processed
messages.
Infected Messages
Displays the total number of messages that
have been infected with malicious code.
Suspicious Messages
Displays the number of messages that have
not been scanned reliably. The message is
considered to be suspicious if it is encrypted
or it has been compressed with unknown
algorithm, or there was a scanning problem
when the message was being scanned.
Stripped Attachments
Displays the number attachments that have
been stripped from messages.
