DTC: Check Right Reel
Reel motor RPM is not within the range of the setpoint.
DTC: L Actuator Overcurrent
L Actuator current over 10A for 30 seconds.
DTC: C Actuator Overcurrent
C Actuator current over 10A for 30 seconds.
Probable Cause
Remedy
Cutting excessive grass thickness.
If in FOC mode, change frequency of clip (FOC) setting. If in manual mode, decrease
ground speed.
Excessive debris lodged in cutting unit.
Clear cutting unit of all debris.
Excessive mechanical resistance in cutting
unit.
Check bedknife adjustment and reel bearing; make sure the cutting unit rotates without
excessive resistance.
Low voltage.
Charge batteries.
Faulty connections.
Check connections; make sure connections are dry, clean of corrosion and tight.
Wiring harness.
Check wiring for broken wires.
Faulty reel motor.
Substitute the reel motor with a known good reel motor. If issue is corrected, reinstall old
motor to verify fault returns.
NOTE:
If vehicle has split motor, motor and/or motor controller will need to be reinstalled
to verify fault returns.

Lift arm mechanical binding.
Check lift arm pivot points for binding. Check up-stop, transport lock, or bumper
adjustments.
Faulty wiring/connections
Check all wiring and connections for contaminants/damage and faulty connections. Fix
and repair as needed.
Faulty lift actuator.
Substitute the lift actuator with a known good lift actuator from the same machine. If
system now works, re-install old actuator to verify fault returns.
Faulty reel control unit (RCU).
Substitute the reel control unit with a known good reel control unit. If system now works,
re-install old RCU to verify fault returns.
