48-Volt Connector
Removal and Installation

WARNING
1.
Park the mower safely. (See “Park Mower Safely” on
page 1-6.)

NOTE
Label all wires before disconnecting to ensure correct
installation.

Remove the negative (–) 48-volt connector cable (2).
3.
Remove the positive (+) 48-volt connector cable (1).
Installation Notes
• Install the 48-volt connector by reversing the order of
removal.
• Route cables between the battery and battery tray to
avoid pinch points.
Instrument Panel
Removal and Installation
See Figures 4-128 through 4-130.
NOTE
If servicing individual components, it is not necessary to
completely remove the instrument panel. In most cases,
the instrument panel can be moved aside for access to
components.

Park the mower safely. (See “Park Mower Safely” on
page 1-6.)

Open the armrest door and remove four screws (1)
and spacers (2).
3.
Remove visor (4) from LCD (3).
• Battery posts, terminals, and related
accessories contain lead and lead
compounds. Wash your hands after handling.
• If acid comes in contact with skin or eyes,
flush with water immediately.
• Always wear the proper protective clothing,
and eye protection when servicing battery.
Always disconnect the negative terminal first and
positive terminal last. Connect positive terminal
first and negative terminal last. Use care when
testing live circuits to prevent arcing. Arcing
could result in death or serious injury.
