Electrical Connectors Inspection
Deutsch Connectors
See Figures 4-98 and 4-99.
WARNING
1.
Park the mower safely. (See “Park Mower Safely” on
page 1-6.)

NOTES
• Label all wires before disconnecting to ensure correct
installation.
• Ensure all components are clean prior to inspection.
• Depress tab (4) to disconnect male connector (3)
from female connector (8).
Inspection Notes
• Carefully slide boot (2) away from male connector (3)
and inspect boot (2), plugs (5), cavity plugs (7 and 9),
and wire harnesses (1 and 6) for wear or damage
and replace as necessary.
• Ensure plugs (5) are securely installed in sleeve body
(8) and present in each unused wire opening.

• Inspect pins (10) and sockets (11) for wear, damage,
corrosion, and loose wire connection. Replace as
necessary.
• Inspect connectors (3 and 8) and seal (13) for wear
or damage and replace as necessary.
NOTE
• Apply dielectric grease (Jacobsen PN 365422) to
connectors prior to assembly.
