Selecting Copy Paper Size
APS - Automatic Paper Selection

Verify that APS (Automatic Paper Selection) is selected.
•
If APS is selected, APS is displayed on the ZOOM key.
•
If it is not selected, touch the ZOOM key, then select APS by
touching the APS key.
There are four methods available to you for selecting the copy paper size.
•
, or Automatic Paper Selection is the default setting. The copier
automatically detects the size of the original and selects the same size copy paper.
APS mode is only for 100% copying.

, or Automatic Magnification Selection. The copier senses the size of your
original and automatically selects the correct Zoom Ratio to fit each original on
the output paper size you have selected.

. You can place different size originals in the
RADF. Be sure the widths of the originals are the same size. Your copier then
detects the size of each original and selects the proper copy paper.

Specifying non-standard paper size
. If you have irregular size originals such as
newspapers or magazines, you can select the desired copy paper size.
