pose tray.
You may choose to have the printer automatically draw from the
optional cassette when the standard 250-sheet cassette is empty.
There are three ways to do this:

Use your application if it includes a procedure for using a dual-
cassette printer. Check your documentation.

Use the PS Executive Series Utilities to configure the printer's
paper source.

Configure your printer for cassette chaining through the printer's
control panel. The following section contains more information.
Chaining Cassettes
The Chain Inputbins option in the Operator Control menu allows you
to “chain” inputbins (tray and cassettes) so that when the first inputbin
empties, the printer automatically draws paper from another inputbin.

Off—Doesn’t switch inputbins; uses only the default inputbin.
On—Switches to the next inputbin with the same size and type
of media when the default inputbin is empty.
On Any—Switches to the next inputbin, regardless of the size
and type of media installed, when the default inputbin is
empty.
