26.3
Restrictor plates
To ensure uniform combustion, each configuration includes a restrictor plate
adapted to the type of gas, as indicated in the table below. This restrictor plate
should be mounted if the chimney calculation results in a value above 5.5. Below this
value, the restrictor plate should not be mounted.
The restrictor plate ends in tabs that should be bent vertically to adapt in the two
internal orifices of the flue exit (see image).
The tabs should be bent towards the interior after mounting. When disassembling or
replacing the restrictor plate, bend back the tabs before removing them. The restrictor plates include an engraved code that allows
the appropriate plate for a given configuation to be identified.
The restrictor plate can also be mounted from inside the fire.

Concentric flue configurations for gas type G20 (methane) and G25
(natural gas)
The different connection possibilities of the Fairo ECO-prestige are described in
configurations 1 to 5.
