Description of the PLC300 Operation

Only numbers are allowed, including sign and decimal point. After typing the number, press
key deletes the character under the cursor.
Properties of the input component: line (y), column (x), width, data type, maximum and
minimum and number of decimal digits.
The width must provide sign (in case of variable with sign) and the decimal point, if present.
In case of a integer variable with decimal places, the maximum and minimum values do
not consider the point. For instance: WORD with two decimal places: 0.00 to 655.35, but
the minimum and the maximum are: 0 and 65535.
Variable types: BOOL, SINT, USINT (BYTE), INT, UINT (WORD), DINT, UDINT (DWORD)
and REAL.
If the entered value is out of the maximum or minimum limits, the value is not accepted
and a warning screen appears:

The number of decimal places limits the display of places after the decimal point.

Number of decimal places: 2
Variable type: REAL (floating point)
Typed number: 1.2258

Variable type: WORD (16-bit whole):
Typed number: 1.2258
Displayed value (after the

NOTE!
A maximum of 12 inputs can be placed in each screen.
Notes:
in the REAL variable, the typed value is completely stored, though only two decimal
places are shown, with rounding.
