Analog Input:
12- Bit Resolution.
Differential analog input.
Input impedance in voltage mode: 40 kΩ.
Input impedance in current mode: 500 Ω.
Access time of digital inputs and outputs using the remote CANopen Weg RUW01
The data update time via CANopen interface depends on the baud rate used, the amount
of data transmitted over the network and the settings done to transmit the data. Some
reference values are supplied below so as to indicate the update time based on one
standard configuration.
Considering a minimum CANopen network with a PLC300 as master and one RUW01
and single slave, using a baud rate of 1 Mbps and configuring the minimum Event Time
rate, that is, 1 ms (one millisecond), we have a delay of up to 2 ms (two milliseconds) until
the information reaches the PLC300. It must also be considered the scan cycle of the
user’s program.
CANopen Network:
1 PLC300.
1 RUW01.
Rate: 1 Mbps.
Event Time: 1 ms.
Maximum delay (I/O): 2 ms.
If we have more RUW01 units as slaves, or the baud rate is lower, we recommend increasing
the "Event Time" period so as to avoid occupying the busbar more than the data amount
to be transmitted. As a safety value, in the “Event Time” you can use multiples of 1 ms for
each RUW on the network. In this case, the update time would be the value of the “Event
Time” more 1 ms for the transmission and processing.
Encoder Input:
Maximum frequency: 100 kHz.
Encoder power supply: 5 or 12 Vdc.
Encoder maximum current: 300 mA.
Maximum length of the encoder cable: 30 m.
Update Time of Screens:
100 ms.
CAN interface:
Power Supply: 11 to 30 Vdc.
Maximum consumption in 24 V: 50 mA.
Memory:
SRAM Memory with battery, capacity of 1 MByte.
