Activating TV Caller ID
TV Caller ID is automatically activated for every customer with EATEL phone service with
Caller ID and FiberEdge Digital Edge TV. This means when a call comes in as you are watching
TV, a small graphic with Caller ID information will appear near the bottom of your TV screen.
If you are a FiberEdge Digital Edge TV and phone service with Caller ID customer and this
feature is not working, please refer to “Turning TV Caller ID On or Off” on page 68 to make
sure this feature is turned on.
What is TV Caller ID?
TV Caller ID is just like phone-based Caller ID, with the added benefit of being able to view
Caller ID information on your TV screen before the phone rings and view a log of incoming calls
on your TV. Caller ID information will still also appear on your telephone or Caller ID display unit.
Follow the simple on-screen menus or these instructions to set preferences and make the most of
TV Caller ID.
