3.12. Faulty Situations

The Control Panel is capable of detecting
following fault events:

Control Panel Low Battery

AC Power Fail

Sensor Out-of-order

GSM isn’t ready

GSM PIN Code

In case any fault condition is detected, the
Control Panel will respond with a Fault
display and/or Fault alarm respectively
according to the nature of the faulty event.
z
Device Sabotaged
The Control panel, Door Contact,
Remote Keypad & PIR sensors are
Tamper protected.
Control Panel
A Tamper switch protects CTC-1132
from any removal attempts away
from its cross mounting bracket
Another Tamper switch protects the
Power Supply Lid from being opened
or removed.
PIR Sensor

For IR-7 & 8
A Tamper switch protects the
enclosure from being opened.
z
For IR-9
A Tamper switch protects the
enclosure from being opened.
A Back-Tamper protects the unit from
being removed from its mounting site
Door Contact
A Tamper switch protects the
enclosure from either being opened
or being removed from the mounting
surface.
z
Sensor Low battery
If the battery voltage of PIR sensor, Door
Contact, Remote Keypad, Water Sensor,
Remote Controller or Smoke Sensor is
low, a Sensor Low Battery message will
be detected.
z
Sensor out-of-order
The PIR Sensor, Door Contact, Water Sensor
and Smoke Detector will send supervised-
signal to the Panel at intervals between
60~100 min. The system will according to the
setting of the supervision send report.
When the Control Panel cannot receive the
supervised signal from the device for preset
supervisory period, the Control Panel will
sound an audible alarm and yellow LED will
light while this fault message can be viewed on
LCD under Fault Display.

Interference
CTC-1132 can detect interference on both
433 Mhz and 868 Mhz frequency band.
After a continuous interference signal is
present for more than 30 seconds, an
interference event can be logged,
reported and displayed on the LCD (if
Fault Display submenu is chosen).

GSM isn’t ready
If the SIM card is found missing, a
warning message will be generated.
Panel SIM Card?
This indicates that you need to insert
the GSM SIM Card or the GSM SIM
Card is not inserted properly.

You will need to set up your own PIN
code.
Panel GSM Signal?
Please change the position of CTC-
1132 control panel to get better
GSM signal.
Panel GSM Fault
Please re-start your CTC-1132
control panel
Panel GSM PUK?
SIM Card has been locked, please
call your service provider for help.
