REMOVING THE COOLING FAN ASSEMBLY
5. Remove one screw from the fan motor
angle that secures the fan motor assembly,
see figure 1.
6. Disconnect two connectors, white wires
from the front terminal and black wire
from the back terminal, see figure 2.
7. Remove one screw from the inside of
fan motor angle, this will release the
housing and allow the fan motor
assembly to be removed, see figure 2.
8. Remove three screws that attach the
fan plenum to the fan motor assembly,
see figure 2.
9. Remove the “E” clip securing the fan
blade, see figure 4.
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before
operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.
WARNING
1. Unplug microwave drawer or disconnect
power.
2. Remove the microwave drawer from the
cabinet as outlined in steps 1-4 of
Accessing Internal Components (see
page 4-2 for the procedure).
3. Remove the top, side and back panels
as outlined in the steps Accessing
Internal Components (see page 4-2 and
4-3 for the procedure).
4. Discharge the high voltage
capacitor terminals with a 20,000 W
2 watt resistor to chassis ground.
