PROBLEM: A message appears: “vPoint could not communicate with the
ViGO device.”
SOLUTION:
1. Make sure that the installed software is vPoint 5.0 or later.
2. Check that you correctly connected the ViGO to the computer, and that the
ViGO and the computer are turned ON.
3. Open Windows Device Manager and check that the USB drivers are correctly
installed. If not, remove them and then click Refresh.
PROBLEM: The local video is black.
SOLUTION:
1. Check that the power switch on the camera is ON.
2. Check that the cable is correctly connected between the camera and the ViGO.
PROBLEM: The video quality is poor.
SOLUTION:
1. Make sure that your computer meets the minimum requirements (see
“Minimum System Requirements” on page 1
).
2. Adjust the focus of the camera manually.
PROBLEM: The remote side cannot hear you.
SOLUTION:
1. Make sure that the audio source that you are using is selected in the Hardware
Audio Settings dialog box.
2. Make sure that the audio input device is correctly connected to the ViGO.
3. Check if Mute Microphone is active. If so, disable muting.
