wlan.bssid
type: getvar
Returns the MAC address of the access point with which
the printer is associated. This value is only relevant
when “wlan.associated” returns “yes”.

Description
Get the MAC address of the AP
Syntax
! U1 getvar “wlan.bssid”
Result
“00:d0:f2:57:13:3d”
wlan.current_essid
type: getvar
This parameter refers to the eSSID of the network cur-
rently associated with the printer. The eSSID is returned
only if the printer is associated with an access point.
getvar result
This will return the eSSID that the printer is asso-
ciated with in Infrastructure mode. When the
printer is in Ad Hoc mode it will return the stored
eSSID. (For more information on Infrastructure
and Ad Hoc modes see wlan.operating_mode.)
Example
Description
This command instructs the printer
respond with the current eSSID.
Syntax
! U1 getvar “wlan.current_essid”
Result
“ZebraNet”
Note: This parameter is not supported in units using a Frequency Hopping
Spread Spectrum (FHSS) radio. The “wlan.essid” parameter can be used in-
stead.
