KEB COMBIVERT F6 Instructions For Use Manual - 8 Start-Up
8 Start-up
8.1 Liquid distribution
8.1.1 General
To ensure an unrestricted function of the cooling system, it is necessary to flush the
complete cooling system before the start-up of the cabinet system in order to remove
air inclusions.
ATTENTION
When flushing do not use the flow rate of 130 l/min required to operate
the cabinet system. Observe the data from => Table 9.
8.1.2 Flushing the single cooling circuits
The table shows the times and sequence of the single flushing operations.

Table 9:
Flushing the single cooling circuits
When flushing the single circuits proceed as follows:
► Close all circuits in flow and return flow at the liquid distributor.
► If a control of the volume flow via the cooling unit is not possible, control must be
done via the ball valves at the coolant distributors. In this case, open the ball valves
on the water distribution halfway. See „Position stopcock“.
►
Flush the cooling circuits of WRA and WRB of the drive converter by opening the
shutoff valve completely.
►
Flush the cooling circuit of the LW heat exchanger by opening the shutoff valve
completely.
►
Open the ball valves at the water distributors.
► Open the cooling circuit of the AFE filter until the mechanical volume flow rate dis
-
plays max. 15 l/min, then flush.
► Open the cooling circuit of the SF filter until the mechanical volume flow rate dis
-
plays max. 15 l/ min, then flush.
►
In order to ensure complete ventilation, make sure that no air inclusions can be
heard.
► After the flushing process is completed, open all the shutoff valves and check the
flow rate display of AFE and SF filters. The value may be max. 15 l/min.
