USB is a serial input/output technology for connecting peripheral
devicestoacomputerortoeachother.Hi-SpeedUSB2.0isthe
latestimplementationofthisstandard,anditprovidesthenecessary
bandwidth and data transfer rates to support high speed devices
suchasharddrives,CD/DVDdrivesanddigitalcameras.
Included USB Cable
YourLaCiedriveisshippedwithaHi-SpeedUSB2.0cable,toen-
suremaximumdatatransferperformancewhenconnectedtoaHi-
SpeedUSB2.0port.Thecablewillalsoworkwhenconnectedtoa
USBport,butdriveperformancewillbelimitedtoUSB1.1transfer
rates.

FireWire400,alsoknownasIEEE1394,isahigh-speedserialin-
put/outputtechnologyforconnectingperipheraldevicestoacom-
