LaCiewarrantsyourLaCied2EnterpriseClassagainstanydefect
inmaterialandworkmanship,undernormaluse,fortheperiod
designatedonyourwarrantycertificate.Intheeventthisproduct
is found to be defective within the warranty period, LaCie will,
atitsoption,repairorreplacethedefectiveLaCied2Enterprise
Class.
NOTE:
ForEnterpriseClassproducts,thetowerandthediskmay
havedifferentwarrantylengths.
In the event of a drive failure please contact your LaCie
reseller or LaCie customer support for drive replacement
procedure.
Thiswarrantyisvoidif:

TheLaCied2wasoperated/storedinabnormaluseormain-
tenanceconditions;
✦
The LaCie d2 is repaired, modified or altered, unless such
repair, modification or alteration is expressly authorized in
writingbyLaCie;
✦
TheLaCied2wassubjectedtoabuse,neglect,lightningstrike,
electricalfault,improperpackagingoraccident;
✦
TheLaCied2wasinstalledimproperly;
✦
TheserialnumberoftheLaCied2oranindividualDriveBay
isdefacedormissing;
✦
Thebrokenpartisareplacementpartsuchasapickuptray,
etc.
✦
ThetampersealontheLaCied2oranindividualDriveBay
casingisbroken.
LaCie and its suppliers accept no liability for any loss of data
duringtheuseofthisdevice,orforanyoftheproblemscaused
asaresult.
LaCiewillnot,underanycircumstances,beliablefordirect,special
orconsequentialdamagessuchas,butnotlimitedto,damageor
loss of property or equipment, loss of profits or revenues, cost of
replacementgoods,orexpenseorinconveniencecausedbyservice
interruptions.
Anyloss,corruptionordestructionofdatawhileusingaLaCie
driveisthesoleresponsibilityoftheuser,andundernocircum-
stanceswillLaCiebeheldliablefortherecoveryorrestoration
ofthisdata.
Under no circumstances will any person be entitled to any sum
greaterthanthepurchasepricepaidforthedrive.
Toobtainwarrantyservice,callLaCieTechnicalSupport.Youwill
beaskedtoprovideyourLaCieproduct’sserialnumber,andyou
maybeaskedtofurnishproofofpurchasetoconfirmthatthedrive
isstillunderwarranty.
All systems returned to LaCie must be securely packaged in their
originalboxandshippedwithpostageprepaid.

Accessories,suchasinterfacecables,arenotunderwar-
ranty.
