Mode Parameter Pages
Unused FIFO Data After Stop
Reports the number of 64-K blocks of MPEG data unused after a Stop has been
issued.
Last Decoder Command
Indicates the last command code executed by the decoder firmware. See Opcode
45h
DECODER
command for command codes.
Frame Reporting
Returns the current frame number (number of video frames decoded). Starts at
0 and increments for each picture decoded. This frame count accounts for all
trick modes (Pause, Slow Motion, Fast Forward, and Frame Advance). Mode
Page 34h provides a frame number, which is derived from the GOP time code.
Data Underflow Error Count
Returns the number of data underflows since power-up/reset. The count is incre-
mented on a data underflow when ErrRcvy = 1 in the
MPEG
PLAY
(A5h) command.
GPOUT1
Returns the state of the general purpose output discrete 1 (GPOUT1):
0 = Output active (closed or low)
1 = Output open (high)
GPOUT2
Returns the state of the general purpose output discrete 2 (GPOUT2):
0 = Output active (closed or low)
1 = Output open (high)
PAL Discrete
Reflects the state of the NTSC/PAL Input discrete (pin 7 on the 15-pin D-Sub
SMU connector). When tied low, the unit will power-up in PAL mode.

Reflects the source selection of the audio outputs:
