DECODER Command (45h)
In addition, the command can terminate when the specified timeout has expired
(default is five seconds). The 32-bit data is the timeout command in intervals of
1/60-second (NTSC) or 1/50-second (PAL). Check Condition status is returned
when the timeout has expired. Sense data is set to:
Medium Error, No Additional Sense Information
0033h Set Background Color: When ever the decoder is idle (i.e. playback not
active) the decoder outputs black. If “Set Background Color” is sent, the decoder
will output the specified color. The default color is black, but can be optionally set
to blue or any color specified by the user.
Bits 8 & 9 of the command determine background color mode:
In User defined mode, the user passes the background color in the 32-bits of data.
Color specified must be ITU-R-BT.601 YCbCr 8-bit color space. The user must
specify 3 eight-bit values corresponding to the Y, Cb, Cr and components. Values
for 75% Amplitude, 100% Saturated Y Cb Cr Colors are as follows:
