BRAKE SYSTEM
When the brake bleeder is not available
>
Fill the brake fluid up to the upper limit line.
Connect the transparent bleeder hose to the bleeder
valve and place the other end of the hose in a container.
Squeeze the brake lever, then open the bleeder
valve 1/2 turn, and close the valve.
NOTE
Do not release the brake lever until the bleeder valve
has been closed.
Check the brake fluid level often while bleeding the
system to prevent air from being pumped into the
system.
Release the brake lever slowly and wait several
seconds after it reaches the end of its travel.
Repeat the above steps
and
until bubbles
cease to appear in the fluid at the end of the hose.
Check the fluid level often, and add fluid if the fluid
level is near the lower level.
If no air leaks out of the bleeder hose, operate the brake
lever to check the presence of air.
Tighten the bleeder valve.
TORQUE VALUE : 0.4~0.7 kgf m
Be sure that the brake fluid is up to the upper level of
the master cylinder and refill if necessary
Reinstall the diaphragm, diaphragm plate and master
cylinder cap.
TORQUE VALUE : 1.0 kgf m
