①
Channel tuning
parameters
The frequency, modulation type, channel bandwidth and
channel number are displayed. In the case of terrestrial chan-
nels, the modulation type is automatically identified by the
meter: DVB-T/H, DVB-T2 or analogue TV.
In case the signal is received through a centralised distribu-
tion system which requires a specific power supply, the meter
is capable to provide a DC voltage variable between 5 and 18
V at RF input (F connector). The voltage value is configurable
via the
DC@RF
(DC at RF input) parameter.
②
Basic signal meas-
urements
RF level, MER, noise Margin, bBER and aBER are displayed.
③
Transport Stream
ID, ORB, network ID
and network name
Various sender information are alternately displayed.
④
Lock
When the signal is correctly demodulated, the lock is closed
and the measurements are displayed.
⑤
Other parameters
Information related to the modulation: signal carrier mode,
constellation type and encryption status.
⑥
Service A/V decod-
ing
Once the signal has been demodulated, the meter automati-
cally decodes the audio and video content of the first non-
encrypted service. The indication of Vpid and Apid is dis-
played under the video stream.
► Touch the Vpid/Apid line to switch to the
SERVICE
screen (MPEG service list screen);
see also Decoding the Signal Content, p. 60.
➯ It is possible to switch between channels allocated to the selected channel plan.
► Touch the Vpid/Apid line again to switch to the measurement interface.
