For example dragging the gauge layer to the bottom of the list puts the gauge layer
below all the other Elements (see right).
It is now underneath the lap-timing elements which can now be
selected for editing, or position adjustment.
Grouping and Moving Elements/Layers in a Scene
Once all the Elements have been added to a Scene and their layer order has been adjusted, chances are you will want
to move them to another location. So how do you move multiple elements in a Scene?
In order to move multiple Elements it is necessary to first group them. All elements belonging to that group will then
be moved at the same time.
Grouping of elements still allows a single element to be selected in the preview window; allowing its properties to be
modified, but moving that element will also move any element that is part of the same group.
There are a number of ways to add Elements to a group, the easiest and quickest way to create a group of elements is
using the layers tab.
Selecting multiple layers
Select the first layer to be grouped, then hold down the ‘shift’
key and select the last layer to be grouped.
Then click the right mouse button, and select ‘add to group’
