5.3 Transferring
results
The meter has an inbuilt IrDA (Infrared Data Associa-
tion) standard infrared window permitting wireless
transfer of the results to a suitably equipped computer,
PDA (handheld computer) or to special analysis sys-
tems.
The infrared window is located in the battery compart-
ment cover of the meter.
There are two ways of transferring the results:
with special products from Roche Diagnostics which
can also analyse results,
in the form of a table which you can then process
with a spreadsheet program, for example.
Roche Diagnostics offers a variety of special hardware
and software products for analysis which extend the
integrated notebook functions of your meter. These
products enable you and your doctor to manage your
data more effectively and, through their graph and
table views, make it easier for you to understand your
results.
