Control test not OK – possible sources of error
If
Control test not OK Repeat control test
is displayed,
the result obtained is not within the concentration
range displayed. Check the points listed on the next
page. If your answer is different from the answer given,
make the respective corrections and repeat the test. If
you have taken all of these points into account and
Control test not OK
is still displayed, please call the

If
Control test not OK Repeat control test
is
displayed, it is no longer certain that the meter
and test cassette are functioning properly. Blood
glucose tests may then deliver incorrect results.
Incorrect results can cause the wrong thera-
peutic decision to be taken and so produce
serious adverse health effects.
