Removing the back-up battery
Apart from the two batteries in the battery compart-
ment, there is also a third battery in the side of the
battery compartment, the back-up battery.
You must also remove this battery before disposing of
the meter.
Remove the back-up battery as follows:

Use a small screwdriver or similar implement to
break out the partition wall in front of the battery.
The battery then drops into the battery compartment.

Turn the meter over so that the back-up battery
falls out.
