“TRAFFIC MESSAGES”
FUNCTION
Selecting and confirming the “Traf-
fic messages” function with the right
knob

) displays the screen
with the messages sent by
Targasys
.
The options available are the follow-
ing:
– Read
– Delete
– Delete all
– Go back.
Each message is identified by the
time of arrival and a short wording.
Any received message, if not deleted,
will be stored. When the memory is
full, new messages will replace the old
ones. Messages will be delete auto-
matically 24 hours after.
To display messages, scroll the list
(also the part not displayed) by turn-
ing the right knob

confirm the chosen message by press-
ing the knob.
To read the selected message, press
“Read”. To delete the selected mes-
sage press “Delete” and press “Delete
all” to delete all the messages. Press
“Go back” to return to the previous
screen.
After selecting the message and
pressing the “Read” key, the text of
the message will be displayed with the
following options:
– Delete
– Go back.
Press “Delete” to erase definitively
the message from the list. Press
“Store” to store the message. Press
“Go back” to return to the previous
screen.
“SETTINGS” FUNCTION
Press the “Settings” multifunction
key on the main
Targasys
service
screen to display the screen with op-
tions:
– General
– Follow Me.
The option “General”, selected and
confirmed with the right knob

), displays the identification code of
the system terminal (used by the
Tar-
gasys
centre) and the SIM card codes
in use.
The option “Follow Me”, selected
and confirmed with the right knob

), makes it possible to set the
frequency for transmitting the car po-
sition to the
Targasys
centre:
– Never
– Low
– Regular
– Frequent.
