Instant Replay Operation: VUE MARKS Mode
mode allows the user to mark a timecode from the active camera recordings, which places a timecode mark point into a
list of stored mark points. Up to 999 timecode mark points may be saved in each Replay Event.
When a mark point is created, the live camera video in view at that moment is saved as a POI (Point of Interest), while the IN and OUT
points of the mark point are auto-marked before and after that POI, using both the “Auto-Mark IN” and “Auto-Mark OUT” values from
the USER SETUP menu.
The purpose of the MARK feature is to allow users to quickly and easily save a timecode point from the live record stream while occupied
with another task. For example, if the user is in the middle of editingor airinga playlist, and something of interest happens in the live
action of the event, the user can instantly create a mark point, thereby saving that live timecode point. Then, at a later time, the user can
recall the mark point for the purpose of creating and saving a new clip, appending the mark point to an active playlist, or airing a live
replay from that stored mark point, even without saving the mark point as a new clip. But to perform all of those operations, we must first
create a mark point:

mode, airing a 2-channel
PVW/PGM playlist live on-air…
However, a mark point can be created during
any mode of operation.
2.Suddenly, the operator sees something
interesting happen in his live video
windows!
