If the Login Violation, Port Security Violation,
Authentication Failure or Remote Poll Failure
conditions caused the Alert LED to light, an
Acknowledge checkbox is displayed for the condition.
To acknowledge the condition (and turn the LED off if
no other conditions are causing it to light) check the
associated checkbox and click on Apply.
Broadcast Traffic
High / Med / Low / Disabled
Allows you to specify whether the Alert LED lights if a
certain level of broadcast traffic is exceeded for a 20
second period. If the amount of broadcast traffic
decreases the LED goes off (it remains lit if other
conditions also caused it to light).
shows the levels that the Broadcast Traffic
condition uses. For example, if the condition is set to
medium (the default), the condition becomes active if
a 10BASE-T port detects more than 40% broadcast
traffic.
Following a period of excessive broadcast traffic, the
Alert LED stays lit for a short period of time.
Error Rate
High / Med / Low / Disabled
Allows you to specify whether the Alert LED lights if a
certain level of network errors is exceeded for a
period of approximately one minute.
shows the levels that the Error Rate condition uses. If
the amount of errors decreases the LED goes off
(it stays lit if other conditions also caused it to light).
