Setting 

Description 

Listening Port 

This setting allows you to change the network (UDP) port the VoiceGear SkyBridge is using 

to listen for new calls from the PBX. The default value of 5060 is used in a vast majority of 

PBX systems and is usually defined on the PBX side during SIP trunk configuration. As a 

rule, port value specified on the PBX side as well as in this section has to match. 

Exposed Realm 

The name of the realm VoiceGear SkyBridge exposes to the PBX system.  In most cases, 

this value does not need to change. 

Agent Name 

The SIP agent name VoiceGear SkyBridge exposes to the PBX system. In most cases, this 

value does not need to change. 

7.1.2  Advanced SIP Settings 

Advanced SIP settings allow you to configure detailed parameters of your SIP connection.  

 Please Note: 

Advanced settings should only be changed by a system administrator with a very good understanding of SIP 

protocol. In most cases, default settings are sufficient to configure a functional SIP channel to the PBX system.
