l’uscitabilanciataatrasformatore(morsettiCOM-HOTdifig.4.8.1)
puòessereutilizzataperilpilotaggiodiunulterioreamplificatore,di
uncentralinotelefonicoodaltro.L’uscitadipotenza(morsettiMON-
GND)èingradodipilotaredirettamenteunpiccoloaltoparlante
monitorda8ohmconpotenzamassimadi1W.
Theoperatingmodecanbeselectedbymeansofthespecificthree-
positionswitchesnexttothesockets:
• inthe
MICpositionthesensitivityofthemicrophonewiththe
phantompowersupplyde-activatedisselected;
• in the
pH position the sensitivity of the microphone with
the phantom power supply activated (for 12/24V electret
microphones)isselected;
• inthe
LINEpositionthesensitivityofthelineisselected.
TheconnectionstothesesocketsareshowninFigure4.2.1.Each
inputhasitsownlevelcontrol(
3)soastobeabletoadjustthe
amplitudeofthevariousdifferentsignalssuitably.
4.5 SpEECH FILTER
It is possible to install a speech filter on inputs
MIC.1-2-3 and
MIC/LINE 4-5.Tomakethesechanges,thelidoftheequipment
must be removed.
This operation must be carried out by
specialised personnel ONLy.According to the factory setting,
thefilterisde-activated.Toactivateit,placethejumperreferred
totheinputinquestioninthe
ONposition,inaccordancewiththe
followingtable:

Itispossibletoconnecttwohigh-levelsourcesofmusic(CDplayer,
taperecorder)tothe
TApEandCD(20)phonosockets.Thanksto
thefactthattherearetwosockets,itiseasytoconnectthesource
rapidlytotheamplifierbymeansofastereocable:mixingofthetwo
channels(leftandright-L/R)iscarriedoutinternally.Thesourceis
selectedbymeansoftheselector
pROGRAM(4)providedforthis
purposeonthefrontpaneloftheequipment.Thesourceselected
issubjecttomutingbothduetoautomaticprecedence(VOX)of
the
TEL./EMERG. andMIC.1inputsandfollowingclosureofthe
pR(precedence)contact,orincaseofacallfromaMbT 1106
microphonestation.
4.7 TELEpHONE INpUT
Theequipmenthasprovisionsforconnectiontoatelephonesystem
viathe
TEL./EMERG.terminalstrip(26).Thisinputisbalancedbya
transformer,hasitsownlevelcontrol-
LEV.(27)–andisequipped
withaVOXcircuitforbroadcastingmessageswithahigherpriority
thananyotherinputexceptforthe
MbT 1106stations,inaccordance
withtheprioritysettingsthathavebeenselected.
4.8 “MUSIC ON HOLD” OUTpUT
Thesignaloftheonlysourceselectedontheauxiliaryinputs(
20)
is available on these terminals (
25).This signal is not affected
by the use of telephone precedence. In particular, the balanced
transformeroutput(stripsCOM-HOT,Fig.4.8.1)canbeusedtodrive
anadditionalamplifier,atelephoneexchangeorotherequipment.
The power output (terminals MON-GND) is capable of driving
directly a small 8 ohm monitoring loudspeaker with a maximum
outputof1W.
